16November All-day schoolDouble event on "Advanced biomethane as a fuel""The GHG avoidance quota: Can Germany achieve the targets for 2030 without gas fuels?"

Event details

This year's edition of the Leipzig Biofuel Expert Discussion is a double event on the subject of “Advanced biomethane as a fuel”. In the morning session, the speakers will address “The GHG avoidance quota: Can Germany achieve the targets for 2030 without gas fuels?”. Framework conditions for advanced biomethane are shown. In a subsequent panel discussion with partners from politics, science and practice, it will be discussed which alternatives can be used if 2,6 percent guest fuel cannot be used in the drive mix of road traffic by 2030.

In the afternoon, the theory goes into practice: The project “Pilot SBG - Bioresources and hydrogen to methane as fuel” will be presented. As part of a workshop, it should be determined which framework conditions must be set and which adjustments to existing systems and their raw material input are necessary in order to implement the concept in whole or in part.
